Kids 6-12: our next generation of pitmasters
Just for kids ages 6–12
Are you between the ages of 6 and 12? Do you like to cook? Even if you've never cooked, do you want to give it a try? If so, come and join us in a kids-only barbeque cooking contest. We provide the pit, the charcoal, the competition meat, and apron.
Space is limited to:
- 12 cooks ages 6–10
- 12 cooks ages 11–12
Spots are first-come, first-served. The registration fee is $50 per entry. Read the registration form for more information.
This program is about sparking a lifelong love of cooking and community. Parents and mentors are encouraged to stay with their young cooks throughout the event.
